Terms of Service

Welcome to Making Sit Happen K9 Coaching. By booking any service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing or scheduling a session.

1. Services Provided

We offer private dog training and coaching sessions, specializing in:

• Puppy foundations

• Advanced obedience

• Behavioural challenges (reactivity, aggression, jumping, etc.)

• Specialized skills (e.g., scent detection)

• Behavioural support and owner coaching

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure training success, clients agree to:

• Arrive on time for all scheduled sessions.

• Follow training recommendations between sessions.

• Disclose any known behavioural or medical issues regarding their dog.

• Keep dogs up to date on vaccinations.

3. Scheduling & Cancellations

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any session.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the full session fee being charged.

• Exceptions may be made in the case of emergencies at the trainer’s discretion.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Single Sessions

• If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

Training Packages

• Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable after the first session has been completed.

• If you request a refund before the first session in a package, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

• All packages expire 1 year from the purchase date.

No-Shows

• Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in the session being forfeited with no refund.

Trainer Cancellations

• If the trainer cancels a session, you will be offered a rescheduled date or a full refund for that session.

5. Safety

For the safety of all participants:

• Dogs must be on leash unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.

• Aggressive behaviour towards people or other dogs must be disclosed prior to booking.

• The trainer reserves the right to stop a session if the safety of the trainer, owner, or dog is at risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and effective training, Making Sit Happen K9 Coaching is not liable for:

• Injuries to people, dogs, or property during or after training sessions.

• Behavioural changes in the dog outside of training sessions.
